staying power or one night stand?

a recent study has now reported that it can be determined if a man is looking for a one night stand or longer term relationship by what parts of a woman he focuses his attention on.  There’s nothing new under the sun (ask any woman), but now they have a scientific study that proves it!  That at least gives us girls some confidence now in interpreting men’s hidden language of Love – no confusion now!

Recession dating

The credit crunch has everyone reassessing their lives & changing their behavior (which can definitely be a positive thing) & not spending as much as they have in the past.  After writing my post last week in which I negatively commented on Dr Pepper Schwartz’s article encouraging people to get a partner to weather the ‘tough economic times’, I thought a little more on the subject.  This week I also read an interesting Reuter’s article titled ‘Falling stock markets spur searches for love online’ and I quote them below:

As stock markets across the globe have plummeted, more people have opted to try their luck looking for love online as a distraction from financial woes — and to save themselves money, according to dating Web sites.

Review of True.com’s Relationship Profile Assessment

I completed True.com‘s relationship assessment questionnaire a number of years ago & it produces a veritable tome of information all about Moi & was almost 32 pages. Do we ever get tired of reading such detailed information about ourselves?  Not me, however the assessment took about 40minutes to complete and that is a long time for an impatient person such as the likes of me.

perfect match or equal match?

most people are looking for a perfect match, in business or love, in spite of the fact that we all know that perfection doesn’t really exist.  To start with we are not perfect as individuals, yet some of us expect to find ‘perfect’ in a partner?  And some of us have given up not willing to settle for imperfect?  Try the polls below & let me know your position on this question.

The word perfect is from the Latin perfectus meaning “completed”. It implies that it would be all over if we found a perfect match anyway.
