Best Individual Path to Wealth: review of Wealth Dynamics profiling assessment
2009 has been a difficult year for most of us and many complain that it has affected their experience of wealth. I recently did the Wealth Dynamics profiling assessment and was very impressed so thought I would review it here. I was so impressed because it confirmed how I could achieve financial success in my life. I say confirmed because I had only just recently beforehand come to a similar conclusion. It is based on The Chinese Book of Changes: The I-Ching and Jungian typology.
The questions asked for this assessment are:
- Which path to wealth suits our natural character and personality best?
- Once we know which path to wealth is best for us, what are the steps we should take, and what are the rules for that particular wealth creation game?
- Dynamo Spring: Wood Energised, dynamic, and great at getting things started. Getting things finished can be a challenge.
- Blaze Summer Fire: Passionate, outgoing, great at networking and meeting new people. Easily distracted from the task at hand.
- Tempo Autumn Earth: Compassionate, great team player and reliable at getting things done with the team. Will often seek direction from others.
- Steel Winter Metal Steel: Orderly, systems-oriented with a good eye for detail, strong at completing. Can find it difficult to start new things.
- Spirit Transition Water: Connected, tranquil and spiritual. Focused on the “why” behind everything.
The online questionnaire itself was quick & easy to do & I didn’t suffer the extreme boredom that I usually have using these questionnaire profiling tools. The different types of personalities are divided into these categories:
- The CREATOR profile: “Creating a better product” eg., Thomas Edison, Walt Disney, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Richard Branson.
- The STAR profile: “Creating a unique brand” eg., Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Paul Newman and Amitabh Bachchan (India’s number one Superstar).
- The SUPPORTER profile: “Leading the team” eg., Jack Welch, Michael Eisner, Steve Case, and Meg Whitman.
- The DEAL MAKER profile: “Bringing people together” eg., Donald Trump, David Geffen, Masayoshi Son, Henry Kravis, and Rupert Murdoch.
- The TRADER profile: “Buying low, selling high” eg., George Soros, Peter Lynch, John Templeton and Jim Rogers.
- The ACCUMULATOR profile: “Collecting appreciating assets” eg., Warren Buffett, his mentor Benjamin Graham, Sandy Weill, Li Ka Shing (Hong Kong’s richest man) and Paul Allen (Microsoft co-founder).
- The LORD profile: “Controlling cash-generating assets” eg., Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, Jean Paul Getty, Lakshmi Mittal (England’s richest man), and Sergey Brin (Google co-founder).
- The MECHANIC profile: “Creating a better system” eg., Henry Ford, Ray Kroc, Sam Walton, Ingvar Kamprad (IKEA founder), and Michael Dell.
I came out as an ‘off the wall Creator’ as per below:
Creators are entrepreneurs like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Norman Foster on the one hand, and Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Larry Ellison.
- BUILDING WEALTH FOUNDATION: As a Creator, your biggest priority must be to build a team around yourself to support and execute the right ideas and plans.
- MOMENT OF WEALTH CREATION: Creators need to maximize their time invested dreaming up and creating new ideas, products and strategies.Key to this is choosing a market that you are passionate about – and that you can see yourself remaining in,
- VALUE CREATION: The value creation in innovation is in maximizing the value differential in your business or products’ unique selling points.Commercial value is what allows others to leverage a Creator’s products profitably. This is the value you give, not the value you get. This alone will multiply returns. GreatCreators identify and build product niches that they can dominate, which means narrowing their niche
- VALUE OWNERSHIP: Before leveraging, you need to own the product rights of whatever you and your team have created.
- LEVERAGE: Leverage will come from multiplying reach and productivity through distribution networks and mass production, and magnifying the brand and goodwill through marketing and partnerships.
- SECURE CASH FLOW: You need to secure where the money is coming from, and how and when it will be paid, before rushing ahead and conquering the world.
‘Your true wealth does not come from money. It comes from people.’
Collaboration: people you should look for first in building your wealth network: Opportunists and Financiers Mechanic, Deal Maker Mechanic to support processes and Deal Maker to create liquidity in intellectual assets.
As a Matchmaker & entrepreneur, this I see is the key, making sure that you have the right profiles around you so that you can maximize your opportunities to create wealth!
A colleague of mine from Australia, Judy Hamilton of Ultimate Dynamics then coached me after I had finished the assessment. She is a licensed Wealth Dynamics Master Practitioner and Director of the Ultimate Dynamics Institute. Judy is also a contributing author to the book ‘The Wealth Garden’.
Judy is offering a promotion on packages bought through me: a Wealth Dynamics profile (normally costs $USD100) and 1 hour debriefing phone session for a total of $AUD200 (which is really good value due to the current lower value for $AUD!)
Contact: info@judy-hamilton.com and mention promotion code: PEMO to avail yourself of this offer
I’ll leave you with this really funny video by Bird & Fortune on subprime – just love these comedians:
