7 Sure Ways to Kill a Woman’s Interest Online

So you think you’re hot stuff now that you posted a shirtless picture of yourself and a badass character description?  Good, take that confidence with you.  Along the way to sowing your oats though, be sure to avoid the top 10 mistakes men make with trying to get dates online.  Make any of these mistakes and your online dates will hide from you faster than Japanese schoolgirls cowering from from Godzilla.

1. Having No Identity

Guys who approach attractive women with half-written profiles or two word sentences haven’t a prayer.  Why?  Because they are not offering anything to their online crush.  They refuse to bring wit, an awesome profile picture, a list of amazing accomplishments, or in short, anything that could possibly create attraction.  If you bring nothing to your online crush, then it doesn’t really matter whether you’re nice or cocky.  You’ve already lost the battle.

2. Guys Share Too Much Too Soon

Now here’s the other extreme: guys that can’t control their freakin’ emotions!  Women get creeped out by guys that are overly happy, share their entire life story in the first email or just generally make a fool out of themselves for no good reason.  Just for a moment, try to imagine if the guy selling you a used car acted like you do around chicks.  Now you know how they feel.

3. Lie

Yeah, lying online is just about the worst thing you can do.  It doesn’t really matter if it’s a white lie or a major lie.  Now, you’re forever labeled as a liar, and possibly a psycho killer, because who else really has to lie in life?

4. Hiding Too Much

Don’t hide your face, your body or the essence of who you are.  (But please, if you look like Kevin James don’t show your skivvies picture)  Women are more attracted to a man who is confident and upfront about his life and appearance rather than men who hide out of shame.  Of course, being mysterious is a turn on, but never revealing anything about yourself is childish fear.

5.  AdB PeSlling

Yes, this is intentionally misspelled, I know.  However, it well illustrates the lack of attention men give to proper spelling and grammar.  Let’s be honest guys, most of the girls you are looking for are not college graduates.  They are probably high school graduates and a few high school dropouts.  These girls try not to judge other people for being stupid but when you don’t bother to use a spell check tool and abbreviate simple words that you don’t feel like typing out, it’s just so easy to feel like your intellectual superior.

6. Ignoring Her

It’s hard to believe the same guys who are so intent on getting laid are so rude in conversation with their online dates.  They do not respond to their date’s comments, answer her questions, or follow her train of thought.  Instead, they dominate the conversation…asking stupid questions and making sexist comments or flattering remarks.  Despite their “interest”, they never actually stop and listen.

7. Waiting Too Long

Come on guys, grow a spine and ask a girl out on an actual date or at least a phone call.  If you wait too long, you may develop a reputation as a coward or as an “online friend”, which she figures is about the same as those “live chat operators” on web hosting sites.  Approach every prospect with a game plan.  Do not simply wait and wait and keep doing the same thing over and over again!  Take action and make the relationship happen!

Stay clear of these sins, and you may very well find you an online girlfriend…in real life!
